Individual Health & Medicare Account Coordinator

Provide service and support for the Individual Health and Medicare team of Lighthouse Group Benefits department. Assist in the enrollment and renewal process of existing and prospective clients, update internal database with client information, support the team with various client inquiries, pre-screen clients for information to quote, assist with completion of client applications, and provide follow up customer service.


  • Minimum Associate’s Degree in a professional field
  • Obtaining insurance license/certification recommended
  • Employee Benefits industry experience a positive, but not required
  • Superior attention to detail, accuracy, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to an ever changing environment

  • Maintain continuing education requirement for P & C license(s)

Desired Experience:

  • Direct to consumer sales experience; 1-3 years preferred
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Currently licensed or willing to get licensed in required lines and states.
  • Advanced professional designation highly desirable (e.g. AAI, ARM, CIC)
