This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.  Less than 10% travel for this position.

Provide service and support for the Individual Health and Medicare team of Lighthouse Group Benefits department. Assist in the enrollment and renewal process of existing and prospective clients, update internal database with client information, support the team with various client inquiries, pre-screen clients for information to quote, assist with completion of client applications, and provide follow up customer service.

The Personal Lines Account Executive is responsible for acquiring new clients. Through their own unique sales strategy, this successful candidate will be able to identify, attract, and close new account opportunities, while developing currently established accounts, all in a fast paced environment. The ability to generate new business from marketing programs, commercial producer referrals, and key centers of influence is critical to the success of this individual. In order to achieve and maintain excellent customer relations, some account servicing is required. Each day is different from the next; especially in personal interactions. Additional responsiblities include account retention, upselling; and account rounding. This position requires interaction with our carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and Lighthouse Group colleagues.

This position assists internal and external customers with their needs including but not limited to, customer service, researching and compiling the necessary information in order to prepare a complete and accurate broker or settlement statement/package and ensures that select closings are handled and mortgage packages are disbursed promptly and that the recorded documents are forwarded to the proper authority, and any other requests by customers.

The Internal Account Specialist is responsible for a wide range of behind-the-scenes services for our personal lines insurance team and our customers. A successful specialist will have the service skills needed to meet our internal and external customer’s needs and provide service beyond their expectations. The ability to organize and prioritize work during high volume periods to meet deadlines and expectation is critical to the success of this individual.
