Join us for ‘a Live From Grand Rapids… It’s Saturday Night’

Holland, Michigan, March 2, 2012—Lighthouse Group is pleased to announce its involvement with LaughFest, serving as a sponsor for “a Live from Grand Rapids… It’s Saturday Night”, starring Martin Short, Kevin Nealon and Alan Zweibel.

All proceeds from the event go toward cancer and grief programs offered by Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids. For 11 years, Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids has provided emotional, social and educational support to children, adults, families and friends on a cancer or grief journey in West Michigan. Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids serves 10,000 people from 33 counties in Michigan, and programs provided by Gilda’s Club rely entirely on donations.

The Gilda’s Club network was initiated in New York to onor SNL original Gilda Radner following her death in 1989 from ovarian cancer.

“Cancer affects us all in some way, whether as a friend, a family member, a survivor or as someone who is currently fighting the disease,” Lighthouse Group Director of Marketing and Communications Carrie Farnum said. “We are honored to partner with LaughFest and Gilda’s Club in this way, to help provide an entertaining night out in our community, and also to lend support to the free programs that make such a difference in the lives of those of us who are on a cancer or grief journey.”

Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids, 1806 Bridge Street NW, hosts visitors in need of support at its 120-year-old renovated farmhouse on 5.5 pastoral acres with a newly renovated barn, gardens, walking paths and benches.
