Lighthouse Title Group Awarded WMLAR Affiliate of the Year

Kerri Woolverton, Holland Branch Manager accepted the award December 13th from the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of Realtors (WMLAR). She led much of the involvement in the Realtor’s Who Care and Women’s Council of Realtors WMLAR committees. Lighthouse team members took part in a coat drive and blanket drive of which the donations from Holland went to Community Action House. A drive for bath/household products for Women in Transition was held and items were disbursed.
Carla Burmeister Awarded 2008 West Central Board of Realtors Affiliate of the Year

Carla Burmeister, Area Manager for Lighthouse Title Group accepted the award in October from the West Central Board of Realtors. She was on the ballot with 24 other affiliates and was chosen by the Realtors for her commitment and dedication to their Board, the Realtors and the Area. Carla manages the Fremont and Muskegon area offices for Lighthouse Title.
Bob Wuerfel Elected to 2nd Term of MLTA

Bob Wuerfel, President of Lighthouse Title Group, was elected to his 2nd three year term on the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA) Board of Directors at their Summer Convention.
The MLTA is a professional association dedicated to supporting its members’ efforts to provide their clientele with the highest quality land title evidencing and title assurance services possible.
The MLTA consists of title abstractors, insurers, and other related land information practitioners and was founded in 1901. Its membership includes independent agencies throughout the state, major national title underwriters, and professional members from related fields of endeavor.
